Legal Counsel, ADENERGY

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide general legal advice on legal, regulatory and risk matters for the daily business operation involving our Energy Services business line worldwide; 
• Draft/review contract in both English and Chinese for or related to our Energy Services business line;  Participate in negotiation, interpret existing contracts and relevant legislations, and optimize the process of working; 
• Monitor and keep up with the newest change of laws and regulations which may impose a compliance issues in the business operation for our Energy Services business line and propose necessary adaptation solutions for the new changes;  
• Provide trainings as needed to the business; 
• Support dispute settlement through negotiation, litigation or arbitration with/without the support of external lawyers; 
• Perform any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as assigned/required. 

Key Skills: 

• 3 - 5 years of working experience in international law firm, or multinational company at a similar position;
• Proven knowledge of Chinese contract law and practices;
• Knowledge of Energy sector;  Knowledge of contracting matters for electrical and mechanical contractors, energy efficiency companies and related documentation; 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French is a plus;
• Having strong business sense and willing to grow with the Company;
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team; 
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
