Responsibilities and duties:

  • Support technical director on the daily technical communications and implementation;
  • Participate in the implementation of Improvement Plans for the water-related processes and facilities.
  • Undertake on-site analysis of operation performance and leakage detection for the water-related processes and facilities.
  • Produce and provide daily advisory support to client personnel for the achievement of the water quality targets.
  • Support the commissioning and calibration of on-line water quality monitoring instrumentation and chemical dosing systems and other water related assets.
  • Perform water quality laboratory analysis if applicable
  • Participate in the production of concept design and technical specification for the water-related processes and facilities.
  • Support production of technical reports for submission within Veolia and the Client.
  • Undertake such other duties and project assignments in project or at locations as directed by the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering or Science Degree (Process Engineer or Chemical Engineer);
  • Master degree in water treatment or equivalent an asset;
  • Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision or guidance from others;
  • Assertive, open-minded, creative, result oriented, self-motivated, hands-on and outgoing individual;
  • Proven design or field piloting 1st experiences are welcomed;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, professionalism;
  • Fluent English (oral and written);
  • H&S basic knowledge and practices.
