Senior Purchasing Engineer

Responsibility

Reporting to the COO (COO = French, based in Kunshan). 

The main mission is to coordinate all activities related to purchase and supplies

Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Supervise the meetings with vendors, in respect to pre-determined targets

· Supervise the negotiations, while guaranty the results (quality, timeline, cost)

· Manage the risks and escalation

· Participate to the finalization of the budget, with the PM and CFO

· Track the actions, and report to COO on Purchase

· Propose a global organization for supply-chain

· Monitor supplier performance and contract execution

· Collaborate with Purchasing teams to implement purchasing strategies

· Maintain the relationships with suppliers; Negotiation for the price, Pre-shipment inspection arrangement, order follow-up etc for the purchasing part.

Requirement

· 5+ years' purchasing experiences in multi-cultural groups

· Experienced in ERP

· Experienced in chemicals (resin, polyester, fiber, foam) will be a “PLUS”

· Accountable, experienced in management

· Chinese, fluent English, French language is an advantage

· Location: Kunshan
