Duties and Responsibilities
TERAO is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in green building and/or energy efficiency related services or/and Construction Management services.
Based in Shanghai within Terao office, you will be working under the responsibility of the General Manager in China.
You will promote following services as priority :
- Green Building Consultancy for Following schemes (Construction/Operational schemes): BREEAM, LEED, WELL
- Energy efficiency Services for both Existing & New Construction Project
To the following industry: Industrial Sectors / Real Estate / Retail
Desired skills and Experience:
Experience:
- 5+ years’ working experience
- at least 3 years in China as Business Development Manager
- Within green building consultancy company or other consultancy related to building/construction sector (Ex : PMC) or Environmental Services
- In control of the whole sales process: Prospection, Proposal/Contract Editing, Bidding/Negotiation, Invoicing & payment recovery
- Experienced selling to following sectors: Industrial Sectors / Real Estate / Retail
- Proven sales track record – High Achiever
Background: Minimum Bachelor - Business degree or Engineering Degree
Fluent in English & Mandarin (HSK 4+), French or other European language is a plus
Proactive & well organized
Result Driven, used to the “Sales Routine”
Strong communication skills, comfortable with all kind of communication including “cold call”
Ability to work in a multicultural team & small organization
Terao operates on the whole building life cycle, from design (green building specifications, energy efficiency design and calculation, etc.) to operation and maintenance (energy audits, certifications in operation, …).
